Who this site is for
This website and our services are for people aged 18 or over. By using the site you confirm you are old enough. Our own pages are safe for work and do not contain adult material.
Information only
Everything on this site is general information. It is not legal, tax, medical or financial advice. Laws and platform rules change, so check current sources and ask a professional about your own situation.
No guarantees, and you accept the risks
We can't promise income, followers, bookings, search rankings, approval by a payment provider, or removal of every copy of your content. Descriptions of services say what we do, not what a third party will decide. Online work carries risks outside our control, including platform rule changes, account limits, ongoing copying of content and sites that ignore removal requests. By using our services you accept those risks.
Our services
Services are provided under a written agreement that sets out what is included, the price and the timeline. If anything on this site differs from that agreement, the agreement applies. For protection work we act only on content you own, with your written permission, and we stop when you ask.
Your promises to us
If you use our services, you confirm that:
- you are 18 or older, and everyone who appears in your content is 18 or older and has given consent;
- you own, or have the right to use, everything you ask us to work with;
- you keep the records the law requires for your content, and you are responsible for your own legal, tax and platform compliance;
- the information you give us is accurate, and what you ask us to publish or act on is lawful and does not infringe anyone else's rights.
Your content and accounts
You keep ownership of your content, your accounts, your domain and your mailing list. We never ask for your passwords. You give us a limited permission to use your content only to carry out the services you asked for. We do not own it and do not use it for anything else.
Third-party platforms and providers
Hosting companies, payment providers, search engines and social platforms make their own decisions and can change their rules, refuse an application, limit an account or stop a service at any time. We are not responsible for what they do, or for outages, fees or policy changes on their side.
Our right to decline or stop
We can decline or end work if the request is unlawful, unsafe, outside what we offer, involves content we can't confirm you have the right to use, or if we are not paid as agreed. We will explain why and, where the written agreement says so, refund unused work.
Our content
The text, design and logo on this site belong to Her Own Stage. Please don't copy, scrape or reuse them without asking, and don't use the site in any way that is unlawful or could harm it or other people. Example pages on this site use made-up content for illustration only.
Links to other sites
This site links to other websites, such as StopNCII.org and platform help pages. We don't control them and aren't responsible for what they say or do.
No warranties
To the fullest extent the law allows, this website and our services are provided "as is" and "as available," without promises of any kind, express or implied, including promises that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, suited to a particular purpose or produce a particular result.
Limits on our responsibility
To the fullest extent the law allows, Her Own Stage, and anyone who works for it, is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost income, lost followers, lost profits, lost data, harm to reputation or loss of business, however caused. Our total responsibility for any claim connected with the website or our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service the claim relates to in the three months before the claim arose. This does not limit anything the law does not allow us to limit.
You protect us too
You agree to defend and cover Her Own Stage and anyone who works for it against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that come from your content, your breach of these terms or your agreement with us, your use of our work, or anything you ask us to do that turns out to be unlawful or to infringe someone else's rights.
Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by things beyond our reasonable control, such as outages at other companies, internet or power failures, changes in law or platform rules, illness or natural events.
Resolving problems
If something goes wrong, please email us first at hello@herownstage.com and give us 30 days to try to put it right. Any claim must be brought on your own behalf, not as part of a group or class action, to the extent the law allows, and within one year after it arose.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where Her Own Stage is based. Disputes will be handled in the courts there.
The legal small print
If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not insisting on a right once doesn't mean we give it up. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent. These terms and your written agreement with us are the whole agreement about the website and services.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Continuing to use the site or our services after a change means you accept it. Questions: hello@herownstage.com
